New accessory for control of the pump based on level
For several years customers have benefitted from the ability to measure the level of fluids in boreholes or tanks using the LORENTZ Liquid Level Sensor (LLS).
To extend the benefits of the LLS to a wider range of customers, we will shortly introduce the WLMS (Water Level Measurement Solution) for all PS2 and PSk3 controllers. LLS and WLMS are complementary products that provide level measurement to LORENTZ pump customers.
WLMS is a combination of a submerged pressure sensor and plug-in barometer module which is plugged into the controller. Water levels are measured based on differences in pressure. The levels are displayed and stored in the pump controller. Using LORENTZ Assistant (PSk3) or PumpScanner (PS2) WLMS can be configured to control the pump based on level. The pump can be started or stopped based on definable levels.
The WLMS can also provide run dry protection when used in a water source. This can be an alternative to using a well probe, particularly where there is debris, dirt, algae etc. that could interfere with the normal operation of a well probe.
