What does temperature class mean?
The S1-200 is manufactured with different pump heads to handle different water temperature ranges to ensure maximum efficiency. These ranges are called temperature classes.
What is a suitable water temperature for my pump?
The temperature class of your pump end depends on the suitable water temperature. The S1-200 is manufactured in three classes:
| Temperature Class | Range in Celsius | Range in Fahrenheit |
| 2 | +20 – +30 °C | 68 – 86 °F |
| 3 | +30 – +40 °C | 86 – 104 °F |
| 4 | +40 – +50 °C | 104 – 122 °F |
The pumps have a tolerance range of ± 2 °C (± 3.6 °F) regarding the respective temperature ranges.
